Function 7 fittings are precision machinedout of the strongest, airframe grade 7075 aluminum, and is 18-20% stronger than 6061 grade aluminum. The Function7 patented design also gives additional strength to the flange while allowing better heat disssipation from the turbo, allowing it to run slightly cooler and prolonging the life of the turbocharger bearings.
