Function 7 96-00 EK Civic Reinforcement Rear Brace

The Function7 Rear Sub frame Brace kit for the 96-00 Civic provides reinforces the rear cross member of the chassis providing improved handling and steering response. Like all Function7 products, this computer-designed brace has been thoroughly tested and refined on the racetrack to improve the handling of the Honda Civic. Made out of a solid block of 7075 aluminum (about 20%_stronger than 6061), the one-piece construction of the brace is designed to provide the maximum rigidity with the minimum weight. The integral sway bar mount adds rigidity to the structure of the car and will accommodate all factory and most aftermarket sway bar kits using almost any off-the-shelf universal sway bar bracket kits. A standard hardware kit is included with the rear brace, and includes reinforcement plates to prevent frame tearout, which is a common occurrence on the EK Civic chassis when used with large aftermarket sway bars.
